China Travel Decisions
Privacy
This notice explains visitor analytics, device storage, feedback and assistance requests. Updated 28 October 2026.
Who handles your information
The China Travel Decisions site operator handles information submitted to this site. For corrections, privacy questions or requests about existing submissions, email shadow3zoneee@gmail.com or use our contact page.
Device storage and optional analytics
Tools use browser storage for progress, device settings and anonymous run references. Your optional analytics choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days; previously saved anonymous-counter opt-outs remain respected in that browser unless its local storage is cleared. These choices do not sync to other devices. You can clear them through your browser settings.
Independently of your optional Google/Vercel/Umami analytics choice, the site can count anonymous page-load signals for site improvement as aggregate totals by calendar day and page path. This uses a first-party image request. The counter sets no tracking cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and the resulting aggregate database holds no IP addresses, browser identifiers, referrers, per-visitor records or analytics consent choices. Our hosting provider must process technical connection information, such as network addresses, to deliver and secure this request, as it does for ordinary page delivery. A previously saved request to stop these counts remains effective in that browser, but there is no longer a separate counter setting in the privacy panel. Clearing local browser storage can also clear the older preference. Aggregated historical counts cannot be linked to individual visitors. Automated traffic, blocked requests and JavaScript-disabled browsers can affect these totals; they are not verified counts of people.
Google Analytics 4, Vercel Web Analytics and Umami load only after you choose “Allow analytics”. They measure page visits and tool interactions, with technical browser and device information. Google Analytics may set cookies. Analytics providers receive network information such as your IP address when your browser connects to them. Advertising storage, advertising user data and personalized advertising signals are disabled in our Google Analytics configuration. We do not use health or religion answers to build advertising audiences.
Change your choice using the “Privacy choices” button on any page. Choosing necessary only stops Google/Vercel/Umami analytics. Choosing either optional analytics setting does not change independent first-party page-load counting. Withdrawing previously granted optional analytics consent reloads the page and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase information already received by a provider.
Hosting and security providers, including Vercel, process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. Private form records are stored using Supabase. Providers may process information outside your country. See Google Privacy, Umami Privacy, Vercel Privacy and Supabase Privacy.
Advertising and external websites
This site has applied for Google AdSense. The current site does not load an AdSense advertising script or serve Google ads. Our account verification information does not itself set advertising cookies. If advertising is enabled later, this notice and the required consent controls must be updated first. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to deliver and measure those ads. Google explains these uses in its advertising information; you can opt out of personalized advertising through My Ad Center. You can also find participating third-party vendors’ opt-out choices at YourAdChoices. These external choices do not replace the consent controls on this site.
External links open services with their own privacy practices. We do not send your private form answers to those services simply because you follow a link.
Feedback and other assistance forms
Feedback records include your vote, optional text, page, result category and an anonymous device or session reference. Decision tools may record an anonymous run and result to help improve the tool. Optional free text and contact details are not forwarded to Google Analytics. Drone and itinerary request forms collect the fields you choose to submit so the operator can assess your request; contact or document sharing is explained by the relevant form.
Do not include sensitive documents in public feedback. We use submissions to handle requests and improve guidance. We do not sell assistance request data. You can ask for access, correction or deletion using your existing follow-up email or request reference. Records are retained while needed for the request, operations or applicable obligations, then reviewed for deletion. This notice does not promise an automatic deletion deadline.
Medication assistance requests
With your agreement, we store your email, arrival port, optional travel date, question and any checker answers you have entered to review your request and follow up by email. Only the site operator can access these private request records. Please do not submit medical records, prescription images or passport numbers in the initial form.
Your contact information, question and medicine quantities are not sent to Google Analytics. A checklist download click is recorded separately using only a request-independent run reference, route and result category. A click does not confirm that a file was saved.
Initial consent permits reviewing your request and contacting you. Sharing medical documents or details with an authority or another provider requires a separate agreement. We do not sell assistance request data. Records are kept while needed to handle the request, then reviewed for deletion.
To request correction or deletion, reply to our follow-up email or send another assistance request using the same email and your request reference. We may confirm ownership through that email before changing or deleting a record.
Google Drive OAuth data use
Google Drive access is used only to read the designated analytics folder and create or update daily analytics JSON mirror files for the site owner's private analytics records.
We do not sell or share Google user data. The OAuth token is used only by this automation.
Authorization boundaries
GA4 and Google Search Console are separate analytics authorizations. They do not use this Google Drive OAuth permission.
You can revoke this authorization through your Google Account at any time.
Limited use
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
