Terms and service information

These terms apply to China Travel Decisions guides, tools and request forms. Updated 6 October 2026.

Travel information

Guides and checker results help you plan. They are not legal or medical advice and do not guarantee entry, ticket availability, registration or acceptance by an authority. Use the linked official sources and confirm requirements for your own circumstances.

Requests and proposed prices

An early-access or purchase-interest request is not a completed purchase. A displayed proposed price, including the $29 itinerary review, does not mean a review is immediately available. No payment is collected by the itinerary request form. Availability, scope, price, delivery time and cancellation or refund conditions must be confirmed before you agree to a paid service.

Assistance cannot guarantee an official decision. Do not send sensitive documents until the requested scope and separate agreement have been confirmed.

Affiliate links and paid assistance

Some booking links are affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This commission does not change the fare, ticket price or availability you are offered, and it does not buy a recommendation: we list an affiliate option only where it fits the guidance on that page. Paid assistance such as the itinerary review is a separate service; paying for it does not buy an official approval, a ticket or a registration.

Third-party services

Official portals, booking sites and other external services have their own prices, terms and privacy notices. Check those before submitting information or paying. China Travel Decisions is independent of those providers.
